Dear Sir/Madame,
I'm TAS subcriber acc #00000085813. I have not receive (missing issue) my October edition (issue 216). I already receive Nov and Dec edition. Could you please resend my October Issue 216.
I tried to contact you using "contact us" page in the webside bit it lead to error
Thank you for your kind help
Regards
I have had an online subscription for 2 years and have not received the December Issue.
When I try to contact the magazine and enter my name and Email No......I get a message that I have no Account!?
What can I do to get through to your staff?
I just called because I am missing issue 217. I only know that because I saw 218 was out on the stands (I wouldn't know myself because I never get an issue BEFORE it appears on the stands, but I thought the idea of subscribing was that subscribers received the issue first. 'Pears (on) I was wrong).
I understand the need to monetize BOTH the print and digital versions of your magazine. However, you have bought into the trap that is killing traditional media outlets - Overvaluing a digitized version of a printed/physical medium. I know that it requires additional time, work and money to create a digital version of a printed magazine.
I certainly hope not - but it sure has been awhile since a call, mailing, etc.
I'd hate to think that my $50 would've been better spent on some vibrapods or a vile of stylus cleaner ;)
Did anyone ever receive a system tune-up book in the mail either?
The sting of early adoption is always both pleasure and pain.
Here's hoping for a relaunch.
Cheers

.. USB interface audibly degrades the signal passing though it...
... it is a "packetized data" format in which data are split up into discrete chunks, wrapped up with information about those chunks, transmitted, and then put back together at the receiving end.

Dear Mr. Harley,
if it were really so, no one would be able to use a single external USB drive. So if there is any degradation, it is outside the USB interface. Unless of course it's a sales pitch.

Mr. Valin has stated in a few recent reviews (technical brain and others I don't currently recall) that he values highest gear that is most transparent to source and will reveal the last bit about the recording.
So when he says something sounds "beautiful" (see comments about comparing Tidal to Wilson in CES gear issue), does he mean it doesn't sound real, lifelike, or reflecting what is on the recording? Or am I reading too much into it?
Apart from the pdf service, curious if there are plans to release an iApp similar to the one HiFi+ recently launched. Or join the Zinio library? I'm due to renew and am considering going all digital. Cheers.
