Got this from an audiocircle forum about "cheap" hi-fi where posters seem quite pleased with the units.
If you can put 3-4 electronic boards together, looks like an inexpensive alternative.
Wrote the site asking a few questions, got an immediate response. So, customer service seems good.
HD stands for HIgh Definition.
Why I put it in the digital amps section is a mystery - even to me.
I guess I'm just a big doofus.
Check out my blog on the new NAD M2 Direct Digital Amplifier that uses an innovative new Class-D output stage as well as other interesting technologies. http://www.avguide.com/blog/technology-preview-nad-m2-direct-digital-amplifier-the-future-audio-amplification
Dear fellow audiophiles, what is your opinion now regarding the current ICE power sound? ICE power has been continuously working on their ICE modules, refining and tweaking them, giving them better performance, etc. But what are the results of these efforts? Are the amplifiers which implement the ICE power modules still sounding compromised as stated earlier in previous discussions? If that is not the case then I have the ominous feeling that class will not mature at all... Btw, which class D module is better: ICE power or UcD?
Chris
I was wondering if anyone has heard these amps. Any first impressions?
Thanks !!

Hello,
I bought B&W 604 S3 speaker (90db) last fall, and wanted to associate them a YBA integrated Sigma (50W).
In a review a read then Musical Fidelity makes a point than any loudspeakers under 95db sensitivity powered by amplification of less than 200W will result in ¨clipping¨.
Whats you think about?
Thanks
General Description
MCD stands for "MHz Class-D", a new branch of Class-D amplifier technology created by John Fu (Fumac) and Zhaolian Fu. This Class D amplifier technology operates at a relatively higher sampling frequency between 700kHz and 2.6MHz(factory selected).
This technology allows one to design amplifiers with excellent specification:
- High output power (up to 800w or higher),
- Very Low THD at full audio frequency (<0.00x%)
- Bandwidth 0-150kHz
- Small phase-shift
- Producing a Class-A alike sound.
I am very inerested in Lyngdorf SDAI 2175 and I must say it sounds very good!
Anybody tested it and others to compare? is there some better choice?
I want a very strong amp with dynamic sound with strong and fast bass, microdetails and all that.
I prefer integrated amp.
My budget is about 2300$
Happy New Year!!!!
