Hi,
OK we can get better bass, more extend treble from better AC cord, IC an SC.
But do we needto run auto EQ once more with new cables installed ? Will the auto EQ
detect the extra bass or tonal change and reduce/increase the bass/mid/treble back to the point
that all the improvement of new cables gone ?
Thanks

I've recently picked up an XGA projector that I want to use with my PS3, but am not sure what sort of connection is going to give me the best quality or best resolution.
The projector has got a
- 15-pin VGA
- S-video
- Composite video input
and the PS3 has got, well, the usual connectors (HDMI and the Sony MultiAV I believe they are).
Can anyone help me with what connection is going to look best?
I managed to talk DirecTV into giving me a brand new HD DVR for free. With this DVR I can also get Video On Demand through an ethernet connection. DTV recommends either a hard wire connection or a powerline connection utilizing Homeplug or similar powerline technology.
Does anyone on this forum have experience with Homeplug technology? I am concerned about it mucking up the electrical environment not only to my home theater set up, but to my 2 channel system as well. My 2 channel system is on a dedicated line and utilizes a Richard Gray Power Company RGPC 600S.
Hello,
Does anyone know of a way to filter an HDMI connection from a cable STB to the display? I used a Mondial MAGIC box for this on the coax connection to eliminate the 60Hz hum that sometimes results from connecting cable to an A/V system. It was designed for that purpose. But that was on a CRT, between the STB and TV. I now have a plasma, and the connection is HDMI from the STB, so the hum is back. Putting the Mondial between the STB and the wall results in the loss of some channels (presumably they get filtered out).
Any ideas on this would be appreciated. Thanks.
First off, I'm a noob. Well, sort of. I did try to search your forums and others for an answer to this, but didn't find. So if this is a re-post, I apologize.
I have two tv's. An old tube television with several older consoles hooked up to it. Intellivision, Atari, NES, on a composite switch. Nostalgia!
Hello, I have a ipod and all the songs i love are on it and i just am so tired of making cds of songs and its so hard to find where each cd is and what not, so i heard about hooking your ipod into your car. How can I hook it up without spending no money? I have a 2004 toyota sequoia and im pretty sure it has like a plug where i can hook my ipod up into the car but im not sure. So, what do I do to hook it up and if there is no way to hook it up without spending money than how much does it cost?
