Did anyone else? What did you think of the sound in this room?
I thought it was very good and bettered most.

Now that multipe sites, (including this one) have posted CES reports on the web, avguide now has the noive to put a CES report in the GEC.  Folks, I think avguide has re-defined the Yiddish word, "chutzpah,"  as in umitigated gall.  I for one would not be broken hearted if the GEC just faded away.

Well boys and girls it is that time of year again. No, i am not taking about the winter holidays filled with audiophile toys for the good girls and boys. It is Enjoy the Music.com's International CES 2010 (Consumer Electronics Show) and The Home Entertainment (THE Show) preview time of year where you can see next year's audiophile goodies today.

It's a wasted effort...

I am planning to make a hometheatre in basement. I already bought the Mythos ST and 10  as a centre channel. I am confused to make a selection  about receivers. pioneer sc27,25 or denon 4310 ,4808. all available on ebay. also one 5803 . Any suugestion is welcome.
Can I play these 7.1 receivers with 5 speakers. I hate it man I just have the money for 5 they made 7.1?

HP did a seminar at the RMAF, which was publicized and written up by Stereophile, with no mention whatsoever by AV Guide.  What's up with that?
 
PS:  Calling the online coverage, (not just here) pitiful, would be paying a compliment!
