Could you clarify the extent of Apple support of aptX Bluetooth? I was hoping to use one of these units as a source for outside music using my Ipad but I don't think this is possible.
I use the Viso1 in just such a fashion. We have multiple idevices and android devices that we stream bluetooth to it from. It has worked flawlessly and easily with all of them. The range seems to be more dependant on the device than the NAD, with some working from further away than others.
I would reiterate from the review, the bluetooth sound is the best implementation of the technology that I have heard to date. I bought this based on seeing it at the Rocky Mountain AUdio Fest. Paul Barton, of PSB speakers, we demo'ing it in the NAD room. It sounded extraordinarily good, and then he told me it was running blue tooth from an ipod touch... icing on the cake. I bought one the week I got back, actually got one of the first to be shipped out. I enjoy it very much, really good sound. And it gets VERY LOUD with 0 strain or distortion. Highly recommended for the audiosection alone, also nice to use it to play movies of an idevice through the dock. Great bedroom system or to take to friend's houses, everyone with a bluetooth device can play dj.
