Consider this accessory cable if: you’d like to see your already good-sounding in-ear monitors take some worthwhile steps up in performance, yet without losing any of the sonic mojo that made you choose them in the first place. Also look into the IEM cable if, down deep, you have a keen desire to make good things even better.

Look further if: you feel $175+ is too much to spend on a product that will likely make a number of comparatively small (albeit collectively significant) improvements in the sound of your already very high-quality in-ear monitors.

I have the exact same results using a pair of custom Silver Dragons with my Audez'e LCD-2s. What small problems in slowness and darkness these cans were known for disappeared entirely. What were arguably the world's best headphones have become remarkably better.

It's hard to put it all into words. Break in time is required however.

I am almost certain that, using the Silver Dragon, I can make the LCD-2 sound alike the LCD-3 (which has a sticker price double the first) with a slight adjustment to Fidelia or Amarra software, where no one I know will be able to reliably tell which is which.
