Please Mr. Alan i've compared that player against my Chord RED reference and if it was a soccer game it woul be 10-0 in favour of the RED, so how can you say it's one of the best no matter the money!!?? Are you serious?
Mr. Mendes,
One who doesn't known how to set an arm chair in is own listening room doesn't qualifies for a secure reviewer. First you should known how to tell apart a fart from a bass note, and then, only then, come back for lesson nº two.
This is all what high-end is about, we all tend to believe that a more expensive product really plays better than a cheaper on. Unfortunately this is not always true and applies entirely to Lyngdorf CD-1 player, which I owned for a couple of months. Compared to other more expensive CD players, surely that is not that easy to decide which one to go. As for the relationship between cost and quality, compared to many other expensive players, CD-1 is the right choice.

Well, Mr Mendes, it hurts, doesn't it?
Have you "heard" a CD-1 by any chance? Blind test it and then you could issue an informed opinion.
