Front-Projection Screen with a Joe Kane Touch

Conclusion

Da-Lite and Joe Kane have struck a home run here with the JKP Affinity HD Pro material and as more Hollywood broadcast studio and post-production houses upgrade their projection screens (word is already spreading like wildfire), we’ll be seeing the benefits in improved HD picture quality down the road. Indeed, we already have one prime example—the Baraka Blu-ray disc was first check-screened at Joe’s home theater studio on the HD Pro screen, and subtle defects that weren’t noticeable at the post-production house led to the film being thoroughly re-mastered as a result. Though not cheap, the new Da-Lite screen is priced competitively with other premium screens; it’s actually a pretty good value given its outstanding performance.
