BOTTOM LINE

While the DTX 101 iEs have a more robust than neutral midbass, they will appeal to anyone looking for a bass-friendly earphone with a smooth midrange and non-fatiguing treble. With only three included ear tip options, the DTX 101 iEs won’t fit as many differently shaped ears as some earphones can, but if your ear canals aren’t too far outside the norm, they should be fine.
