That tweeter looks mighty familiar. I'll bet it's the main reason the speakers image so well. I can't remember who developed the tweeter, but remember Radio Shack using it in a small 2-way.

The CDT tweeters aren't related to the Linaeum tweeters used in Radioshack's designs, if they're the ones you're thinking of.

It seems that Classico floor standing speakers' prices have now been reduced by $800-1000 for a pair. This makes the classico 3 about $1500 and classico 4 about $2500. In that case if one is looking at that price range, is classico 4 worth it? I wonder why you all chose to review the 3 and not the 4?
