The one-chip DL500 is the most affordable DLP projector available today. The DL500 has a native resolution of 800 x 600 pixels, progressively scanned. Thus it can resolve anamorphic DVD and 480p SDTV in their full glory, but can't natively display HDTV (720p and 1080i). Its light output of 1000 ANSI lumens is excellent at this price level (more than double that of a similarly-priced LCD projector).
