The Circuit topology of the OPS-2 is very similar to the OPS-1 with the exception that two independent circuit boards are used in a dual mono configuration. In addition all the stages utilize dual parallel triodes to give lower noise figures and lower impedances to stabilize the circuitry. The housing for the OPS-2 is purposely made of light weight steel for good shielding and easy damping of vibration.
