Compared with the other network media players, Netgear's Entertainer HD ranks somewhere near the bottom in terms of ease of use but rises close to the top when it comes to playback quality. Netgear may have bitten off more than it can chew in with this first-generation product, but once the firmware improves I have no doubt that it will become an impressive all-around performer.
