For a couple of days, I tried the Dragonfly and Mosquito together and by themselves. With most sources, I preferred the picture quality of the Dragonfly without the Mosquito. On test discs, I could see the Mosquito working its magic, but its ministrations were far less dramatic when watching movies and TV shows. If you watch a lot of off-air TV, the Mosquito would be worth owning, but in home theaters where DVDs and high-def sources rule, its $3000 price tag is probably too steep. (Technical Notes)
