Panasonic PT-61DLX76

Panasonic PT-61DLX76

Panasonic's top-dog position is safe when it comes to plasmas, but if the PT-61DLX76 is any indication, the company has a way to go with RPTVs. Unfortunately, the set's inability to produce deep blacks and convey detail in dark scenes diminishes the overall viewing experience. And, although color is reasonably good, overall detail is not as sharp as it should be in scenes with motion. If you're in the market for a rear-pro, I'm afraid I must recommend looking elsewhere.
