YBA Design is a brand-within-a-brand, designed to be priced more affordably than the offerings from YBA. First off, the amp and CD pair are so beautiful, you'd think they cost more than the do ($1649 a piece). They are also blessed with a seductive midrange sound. And while the CD player holds its own among stiff competition, the integrated amp is a class leader because it offers the same midrange magic as the CDplayer, plus greater transparency and better responce and frequency at the extremes.
