The Reference 300 monoblocks are the best amplifiers I've heard from Audio Research. They take the considerable virtues of the VT200 (which was the best amp I'd heard from ARC prior to the 300s) and add greater detail, more power, authority, and extension at both frequency extremes, and even more of the bloom that made the VT200 so special.
