The MS-300 is a solid audio server with warm, smoothed-out sound and an intuitive interface. The networking and other features are all straightforward and flexible, and it makes ripping, encoding, and album lookup a snap. The biggest question with the MS-300 is whether the ease-of-use, aesthetics, and sound quality are enough to justify its $5300 price tag.
