Ayre Acoustics D-1
The Ayre D-1 is a one-box DVD/CD player with an external power supply. It is based on a DVD-Video mechanism, and will play all DVD-Video discs as well as all CDs (including Video-CDs). The pickup mechanism has two discrete lasers, one infrared laser for CDs and one visible laser for DVDs. This allows the playback of most CD-Rs.
