The Ayre DX-7 is more expensive than I wish it were. However, if I had seen a single DVD player that could match its brilliance of picture for less money, I'd tell you. I haven't. The DX-7 unequivocally offers the best image quality I've seen from the DVI output of a DVD player, and only Ayre's D-1x equals (or perhaps betters) the quality of its analog component- video outputs. I don't just highly recommend this DVD player. If you own a high-resolution front-projection system I demand that you audition the Ayre DX-7!
