The CS400i center-channel speaker is a plain black rectangular box that uses a rear-firing Power Port and a driver complement consisting of one tweeter flanked by two bass/mid drivers. In order to maximize the 400i's horizontal-dispersion pattern, and therefore maximize the range of its effectiveness at fixing dialog on the screen, the 400i is equipped with a cascaded crossover network.
