The Ruby 2 is the top of the Benz line. Unlike the silver-coiled Benz Ref 2, the Ruby 2 boasts copper coil windings (neatly allowing room for a gold-coil version?). Also non-ferrous is its unique square ruby coil plate, which avoids the magnetic side-effects of the industry-standard iron core.
