Best known for its printers and scanners, Epson made a big splash at the January Consumer Electronics Show with the LS57P1 reviewed here. Among its features are a 720p (1280x720) HD display, a memorycard reader (Compact Flash; SD, SmartMedia; Memory Stick), connectivity for a PC in addition to dual component-video inputs, four sets of composite/S-video/LR-audio inputs, DVI/HDCP, an included CD-R/RW drive (with USB connection), and—the cherry on the sundae—a built-in dye sublimation printer.
