Despite all these tube and circuit changes, the Reference 2MkII is still, recognizably, an ARC component-the product of 30 years of evolutionary thinking. There are major differences, however, some definitely for the better and some I?m still adjusting to. (For the jaded among you, unlike some of ARC's past ''upgrades,'' this one definitively raises the stakes.)
