B&W ASW600

B&W ASW600

B&W?s ASW600 subwoofer is a compact sealed-box with a 10" Kevlar-reinforced pulp driver. An oversized dustcap has been installed to further stiffen the cone. Power is delivered via a built-in Class D 150W amplifier. Connectivity and versatility are excellent for this price point, with both line- and speaker-level inputs and outputs available. The low-pass filter is a second-order design; the high-pass filter is a third-order design with a hinge point of 80Hz. Also included are a phase switch, a lowpass- filter defeat switch, and an EQ switch that alters the bass roll-off- one position optimizes the sub for corner placement or a boomy room, the other adds reinforcement to compensate for a dry acoustic.

Includes a review of the Rotel RSDX-02 DVD Player/Receiver and B&W DM600 Loudspeaker System consisting of B&W's; DM601 S3, DM601 S3, LCR60 S3, and ASW600 Subwoofer!
