The PH-1 is the culmination of years of work in which Grado strived to build a versatile phono preamplifier that could work equally well with both high and low-output cartridges (from 0.4-4.5mV), with low noise, wide bandwidth, high headroom, accurate RIAA amplitude and phase coherence, and low output impedance. Simple to install. The back panel has input and output jacks, a ground post, and a connector for a 12V power supply, while the front has the Grado logo and a red LED power-on indicator. Gain is switched via a toggle on the bottom panel.
