Acoustic Zen cable products are engineered by Californian designer Robert Lee. Formerly associated with Harmonic Technology, Lee has managed to re-invent himself and this product line with impressive results, if he is to be judged by the Silver Reference IIs. I have used these beautifully-made cables for the last several months in my home system, comparing them with Siltech G-3, Nordost Quatrofil, and Wireworld Gold Eclipse interconnects, and I have to report that I am quite pleasantly surprised. I expected competence and value, but I got a good bit more.
