The HP-100 is one of the most beautifully designed pieces I've ever seen. The top plate (anodized aluminum, mortised into the sides for structual rigidity) contains three round perforated air vents that echo the three large chrome knobs on the 3/8-inch faceplate. Those knobs control balance and volume and select from the generous eight souce inputs plus tape.
