Hitachi's 57T500 is a lot of TV for $3499. First, like the Mitsubishi, its cabinet can be separated into parts, which makes your life and that of the poor guys who deliver these things for a living a whole lot easier. This set has two sets of component video inputs and a DVI/HDCP input; all will accept 480i/p, 720p, and 1080i.
