Audio Research VS55
The VS55 power amplifier is a simple and classic design, with a pair of 6550 output tubes per channel producing a rated 50Wpc (at 1kHz, 1% distortion). The compact, no-frills chassis leaves the three input and driver tubes (6N1P) and four output tubes uncovered. Taps for 4-ohm and 8-ohm loudspeaker are provided.
