Panasonic's latest entry is its fourth-generation box and represents a new direction for the company's STBs. While previous models have included either FireWire connectors or DirecTV tuners, the TU-DST52 has neither. Another feature dropped is 720p output. Instead, the Panasonic features a choice of 480i, 480p, or 1080i output.
