Sunfire Architect's Choice Series 2
In most respects, then, this is a rave review of a state-of-the-art contender,
which leaves only the matter of tonal balance, about which I have two reservations.
As with the Signature, I found I preferred the voltage outputs in my system
all the time. But insignificant though that Gundry dip may seem, it
makes its presence known: not so much as to send timbral reproduction awry-
Carver is far too savvy for that-as in a tiny loss of presence and a vague sense
that something-however agreeable, and the sound of this amp is exceptionally
agreeable-is not quite right.
