The Minos is an augmentation subwoofer, to use PS's terminology from his survey in Issues 117, 118. The Minos offers various crossover points for the subwoofer itself (low-pass fil-ters, third order), but it does no roll-off of the main speakers, which remain connected directly and full-range to your power amplifier.
