The Mini-Monitors are a two-way, bass-reflex design utilizing a 1-inch ferro-fluid-cooled titanium dome tweeter and a 6.5-inch injection molded co-polymer polypropylene cone mid-bass driver. The crossover point is specified at 1.8kHz. In-room sensitivity is 89dB. They are not shielded but, given the modest size of the single mid bass driver, there should be no problem with proximity to a television monitor unless you nail them to its sides.
