The CDM 9NT provides exceptional smoothness, life, air, transient detail, and control. It is not a bassoholic's speaker, but anyone looking for transparent musical accuracy with extended highs will find it exceptional. The 9NT has the same basic sound character I found in the 1NT and CNT, making them a good match in home-theater and surround-sound modes.
