The $1,125 S2/P2 System evaluated here falls straight down the middle of the Athena line-up. The S2, a two-way bass-reflex design with a rear-firing port employs a 1-inch soft-dome tweeter and a 6.5-inch composite cone woofer mounted in close proximity. The P Series bass modules are downward firing bass-reflex designs with a large, forward-firing flared port.
