The SME-27HD5 is a 27-inch diagonal 4:3 HDTV monitor with a slightly convex screen and a built in NTSC tuner. Like the 34-inch model, this set will display PAL signals as well as NTSC. It will also scan at a high enough frequency to display 720p HDTV signals, the fastest scan rate needed for high definition, and it handles computer scan rates of up to 50kHz and vertical refresh up to 120 Hz.
