A pair of K.5mk2 Monitors produces 100dB of continuous output up to 26' (8m) away when used with a 200-watt amplifier. Most speakers are tuned to sound good on stands but, but when you place these speakers in a cabinet, they can sound thick and distorted. The exclusive Placement Switch "fixes" the K.5mk2 when it's placed in a cabinet, so the sound isn't compromised.
