Panasonic Replay TV PV-HS1000
The PV-HS1000 from Panasonic is their first entry into the PVR (personal video recorder) realm. Its 20-gigabyte hard drive allows for 30 hours of video recording at the highest compression (lowest quality) and for 10 hours of recording at the highest quality. An on-screen menu and programming guide are updated nightly by telephone (the unit automatically calls for updates.)
