| Features | Arcam has replaced the DV27 with an updated model called the DV27A, which offers everything we loved in the original plus DVD-Audio capabilities, at a price of $2999. Given growing interest in high-resolution digital audio formats, I thought it would make sense to check out the DVD-A-capable version of Arcam's classic player to see how it performed. Also, as a matter of personal curiosity, I wanted to evaluate the DV27A alongside "known good" digital players from above and below the Arcam's price range in hopes of getting some useful contextual insights on where the DV27A fits within the larger price/performance universe. |
