May 20 - Gizmodo is reporting that Apple’s WWDC (Worldwide Developer Conference) may be synchronized with the launch of the highly anticipated 3G iPhone.

According to their sources, Apple would launch the 3G iPhone almost immediately after the WWDC is over.

May 19 - The recently revealed BlackBerry Bold from RIM (Research In Motion) now has potential pricing and release information.

According to CrunchGear, AT&T will be the first carrier to get the Bold, released some time in July. Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint would begin carrying the Bold in September.

May 15 - BGR is reporting that some new details about a very advanced smartphone from RIM have come to light. The BlackBerry Thunder would follow in the footsteps of the iPhone by doing away with the standard QWERTY keyboard in favor of an entirely touchscreen interface.

The only buttons on the phone would be the answer key, the BlackBerry key, and the escape key.

Aside from the touchscreen, BGR is reporting some very interesting rumors about the power of the internet in the BlackBerry Thunder. Apparently, the Thunder will be getting unprecedented wireless support, with support for GSM and CDMA.

May 12 - RIM announced an exciting new full-sized smartphone last night, the BlackBerry Bold. The Bold will be a full-sized 3G capable smartphone, styled after their previous full-sized smartphone offerings.

While the aesthetics may not have changed much, RIM added a host of new features for the Bold to really bolster its level of performance.

While many of the previous BlackBerry models forced the user to choose between WiFi and GPS, the BlackBerry Bold includes both features as standard.
