Minus the incessant ringing of slot machines in my ears, the seizure-inducing flashes of a billion neon lights, and the slew of pretty women in “bunny” outfits or bustiers (or, in the case of AVA’ers, nothing at all) to distract me, it was tough to recognize the elegant, business-like, Bauhaus-inspired M.O.C. (Munich Order Center) as the site of a hi-fi show. April 18 – Ericsson announced an exciting new technology for when the 700MHz spectrum becomes available in 2009.

They are planning on having “4Gâ€? internet available on their mobile phones and devices that will have speeds up to 326Mbps on the service provider’s side.

This means that your mobile phone could be capable of up to 20Mbps for each end user, which is absolutely astounding compared to what even the fastest phones are capable of now.

April 2 – Buffalo has met with some success in offering their LinkTheater HD media streamer in Japan, and they have now decided to grace the US with a release here.

The US will only get one of the LinkTheater HD media streamers in the line, the LT-H90LAN.
