May 9 – Nokia’s Comes With Music service for their music-capable cell phones just got a significant boost.

While Universal Music Group had been the only major record label to support Nokia’s new effort, today marked Sony BMG’s entrance into the program.

This gives Nokia two of the four major music labels who have offered their full catalogs for this service.

Nokia’s Comes With Music is essentially an unlimited subscription-based service that will allow users to download unlimited songs from the assembled catalogs.

This service is limited to a small number of phones that have recently been announced by Nokia and will launch sometime in the second half of 2008.
