Scandyna Releases Two iPod Docks With Built-In Amps
April 16th, 2008 — By Charlie Robb
April 16 – Scandyna has announced that they are shipping a pair of new iPod docks, the Dock and V Dock.
These docks are unique in that they include built-in amplifiers capable of 15 watts per channel. The amplifiers are Class T amplifiers so you can hook them up directly to your speakers if needs be.
As the name indicates, the V Dock comes with outputs for video. Unfortunately, these docks don’t have Apple’s authentication chips, causing potential issues with the latest generations of Apple iPods.
Both the Dock and V Dock are available now for $219 and $249 respectively.
