3G iPhone May Be Much Smaller and Lighter

April 30 - According to the Taiwan Economic News, Apple’s upcoming 3G iPhone may be much smaller and lighter. According to their sources, the weight of the newest iPhones will be reduced by between 15% and 20%.
To accomplish this, they say that Apple is going to be changing the back panel from aluminum to plastic and that the screen size will be reduced to 2.8-inches from 3.5-inches in current models.
