March 31 – An analyst at Bank of America has predicted the release of the next-gen iPhone. Scott Craig says that indicators point towards a June date for next-gen iPhone production.

The most notable inclusion speculated among industry analysts is the improvement over the iPhone’s current internet capabilities.

These new iPhones are supposed to utilize 3G technology, bringing the iPhone to a more level playing field when compared to other smartphones.

There is no firm date set for the production or release of the next-gen iPhone, nor is there a price.

March 31 – AT&T has recently announced that they will soon begin offering live TV through a mobile platform.

In partnership with MediaFlo, AT&T will begin offering 8 channels beginning in May.

There is no word on what the actual channels may be, but there will be 6 standard TV channels with 2 AT&T exclusive channels.

This service will be available as an option on only two phones at the moment, the Samsung Access and the LG Vu.

There is also no final word on the actual pricing, Verizon, which has had a similar service for over a year in partnership with MediaFlo, charges $15 a month, and it would seem to be a good reference point for what AT&T might charge.

The HD DVD Promotion Group has officially shut its doors and left a message redirecting concerned parties to DVD themed sites.

The HD DVD Promotion Group was an organization that represented the various companies with an interest in HD DVD, including studios and manufacturers.
