Jeff Rowland Announces the new $18k Criterion Preamp
February 14th, 2008 — By Charlie Robb
February 14 – Jeff Rowland has released some new specs on his very highly anticipated high-end preamplifier.
The Jeff Rowland Criterion Preamplifier will boast some really serious hardware, which it should for the $18,000 it will cost to pick one up. The new design advances many of the features available in previous Jeff Rowland flagship preamps.
One of the key features of the new Criterion is the separated power supply, which is becoming a rather dominate trend in the design of many of the super high-end preamps.
Hardware aside, the new Criterion also has some very sleek metallic aesthetics, obviously catered towards the die-hard chromephiles in the AV world.
