September 13 - CEDIA Expo has always been focused on front projectors, and rightly so, since most custom-installed home theaters are based on the big-screen magic they bring to the party.

This year was no different, except in the surprising number of really excellent 1080p projectors on hand. Not only that, most can be outfitted with an “anamorphic� lens and electronic processor that stretches a letterboxed movie to fill an ultra-wide 2.35:1 screen, providing a to-die-for home cinema experience at a cost that is far less than it was just a year ago.
