CEDIA 2007: Denon shows a new 10-channel power amp
September 11th, 2007 — By Charlie RobbSeptember 11 - Denon surely rolled out some very nice products during CEDIA this year. On top of a high-end $2,000 Blu-ray player, Denon also gave some home theater enthusiasts a reason to drool.
The new POA-A1HDCI power amp from Denon appears to be an absolute monster in terms of its raw specs. It is a 10-channel power amp capable of delivering a very impressive 150W per channel over all 10 channels with the ability to run a 4 ohm load.
For good measure, Denon also achieved THX Ultra2 certification and included 6 HDMI inputs and 2 HDMI outputs.
Unfortunately the POA-A1HDCI will also cost a pretty penny for the “the ultimate audio and video performance”.
The POA-A1HDCI will cost around $7,000. Get tips on setting up your home theater from our expert Buyer’s Guides.
