[CES 07] More Mounting Options from Sanus
January 12th, 2007 — By Barry WillisNew mounts make for flat-panel heaven

The custom install market is going off the chart, thanks in no small way to Minneapolis-based Sanus Systems.
Here at CES, Sanus is showing many elegant new flat-panel mounting solutions, for everything from tiny monitors to monster plasma displays—and for every imaginable installation: ceiling, wall, corner. The company is even prepared for situations where two flat-panels might be mounted back-to-back, as in large open venues. For two 30 to 50 flat-panels, Sanus offers the $480 VisionMount model LC2A ceiling mount, capable of handling 300 lbs.
Many home installations involve a single flat-panel that needs to be viewed from more than one direction. Sanus’ “VirtualAxis 3D technology makes moving such displays from position to position an easy effort, according to company exec Ryan Hagberg, demonstrating Sanus’ latest offerings here in the south hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Available in silver or black, models MF202, MF203, MF209, and MF215 vary in weight capacity and extension distance off the wall, and are priced at $70, $90, $110, and $160 respectively.
Sanus also has a full line of stylish equipment racks, many equipped to “float a flat panel display above glass shelves for electronic components. For consumers who prefer a more formal interior look, Sanus has introduced a series of decorative frames that simply slip over the bezels of flat-panels to dress them up. Available in three sizes—for 32, 42 and 50 sets—the frames are come in several finishes, including silver, gold, and glossy black.
